Aiyaary, a spy thriller that predominantly revolves
around a young spy and an older one – Sid and Manoj who work in the military
intelligence, is all set to release on February 9, 2018. We had a candid
chat with its lead actors- Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh-0 who will
be seen romancing each other for the first time in Aiyaary.

What exactly does Aiyaary mean?
Aiyaary is basically trickery... a person who changes his ‘roop’ over and over
again, a ‘behrupiya'. It is actually a Persian word. It has been taken from a
novel which is called Chandrakanta.
Rakul, you have done regional films too. What’s the difference in modus
operandi between Bollywood and regional films?
I have done more of Telugu films. There’s not really much of a difference, it
is just the language. I believe that there are either good film makers or bad
film makers, good films or bad films. It all boils down to a great experience
that you have. And I have had a great experience in Aiyaary, I must say. Lekin
haan, South mein we don’t generally shoot beyond 6 pm..

Uh (pauses) Yes!

Go back in time and tell my younger self to just have some fun, relax and tell
myself that everything’s gonna work out in the end.
