FIRST DAY COLLECTION: Parineeti Chopra & Ayushmann Khurrana’s Meri Pyaari Bindu Registers Merely Rs 1.75 Cr At The BO
A rather disappointing figure! The film has failed to create any buzz among the critics and as the reactions of the masses go, the Day 1 collections have just reasserted their reviews...
This is surely not good news for Team Meri Pyaari Bindu.
The first day collections are out and they are quite low for the buzz the film
had created pre-release. This YRF venture has managed to make Rs 1.75 cr only
on its first day. It clashed with RGV’s Sarkar 3 at the box-office. However, the
figures of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer are not out yet.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the Day 1 collections
a while back:

Last afternoon, Taran
Adarsh summed up his thoughts on both the films and said, "In one word,
Sarkar 3 is disappointing, while Meri Pyaari Bindu is boring. Both films
haven't had a great opening in the morning and afternoon shows. The collections
are also below the mark. The Baahubali wave is still on. Its figures speaks for
itself. The movie is still going strong."
Meri Pyaari Bindu has unfortunately not impressed the

gathered public reaction yesterday after the first day shows, people walking
out of the Meri Pyaari Bindu shows said that the chemistry between Ayushmann
and Parineeti was fantastic. However, many complained that the film was boring
in certain parts. Also, some were disappointed with the ending.
This is considered to be
Parineeti’s comeback film after she took a long break and invested all her time
in her transformation. She shed a lot of weight and returned to the big screen
in an all new avatar. Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra heavily promoted
the film across the country.
Well, let’s hope that the film gains some momentum over
the weekend and earns better at the box-office than its first day.
