Everyone associated with the film has been receiving praise from all quarters. Ranveer, who has been getting the lion's share of praise, has thanked Bhansali. “I’m thankful to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for giving me a film and a character that will be always be remembered and cherished,” Ranveer exclusively tells SpotboyE.com.
Ranveer has been the toast of the country with his incredible performance as the ruthless, merciless Alauddin Khilji. Ranveer’s acting been hailed as outstanding and path-breaking and critics have unanimously credited him for giving Bollywood one of its most iconic villains of all time.
Coming to talk of the box-office collections, it seems the movie will not stop growing this week as well. Firstly, there are no other releases at the theatres. Secondly, the Karni Seni – who was the frontrunner of the protests against the film – seems to have taken a U-turn is a few states. Thus, when the movie releases in these states, the theatres are surely going to go housefull. Thereby, it will be helping the collections of the movie soar higher and higher.
