TRAILER: Aamir Khan’s Dangal Is An Action-Packed Sports Drama
While everyone’s excited about Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil this Diwali, there’s something else that has added to our excitement! It’s Aamir Khan’s Dangal. The trailer of the film is out!
Unlike all his movies, this time Aamir decided to release his film Dangal’s trailer on the social media platform rather than organizing an event for the media. Here it is-The Trailer of Aamir Khan’s much-awaited sports drama Dangal. (Check the video above).
Right from Aamir’s dialect to his appearance, authenticity is screaming out loud in the trailer. Just like any other Aamir Khan movie. The title track has been voiced by singer Daler Mehendi.
Interestingly, like Salman in Sultan, even Aamir is seen riding a scooter in the film.
Aamir who worked hard for years to beef-up and then lose the weight surely looks his part in the trailer. The effort and hardwork has surely translated on-screen.
Dangal is a biopic that stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. He plays the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters in wrestling.
Sakshi Tanwar also plays a key role in the film. The sports based drama will release on December 23 this year. It has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for his films like Bhootnath Returns and Chillar Party.
Dangal directed by Nitesh Tiwari also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh who play Aamir’s on-screen daughters.
Aamir Khan went through a drastic transformation for this role. He had amassed 40 kg of body weight to fit the role of the older Mahavir Singh Phogat. He carried that look for over a year and later shed the weight to come back in shape in no time.
Aamir has already shown his film to few prominent industry people like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayaan Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Aarti Shetty among others. He has received a lot of accolades already from the industry (Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar Watch Aamir Khan’s Dangal, Oct 10).
