102 Not Out Teaser: Amitabh Bachchan & Rishi Kapoor’s Chemistry As Father-Son Is Delightful

The wait is finally over as the two superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are back sharing the screen space after 27 years for 102 Not Out. Makers of the film released the one-minute long teaser which is nothing short of a delight.

The childlike innocence of both the characters will melt your heart. Big B who plays 102-year-old father to a 75-year-old Rishi Kapoor, shows the father is younger at heart than his son.

In the teaser we see a free spirited Amitabh Bachchan playing a saxophone and kicking the football whereas on the other hand Rishi Kapoor is roaming around in tension and doing yoga asanas.

Towards the end of the teaser we hear Amitabh Bachchan telling Rishi Kapoor, “I would be the first father of the world who will send his son to an old age home.” The two have their moments in the teaser and we just cannot pick who is better.

102 Not Out is based on Saumya Joshi’s well-known Gujarati play by the same name. Talking about the film, director Umesh Shukla said, “102 Not Out is a highly entertaining and extremely successful Gujarati play that has won over the youth and family audiences across the board. The idea of adapting it into a Hindi feature came from the fact that the relationship between a parent and a child is universal and the one where love supersedes everything else, including age. Amitabh Sir and Rishi Sir together are a dream cast for anyone and I sensed a deep responsibility in bringing them together.”
