Pahlaj Nihalani is at it again. This time, it's not sex or violence but the the things that could have perhaps hurt the Sikh community that bothered him while viewing a film.
Singh is Bliing, the film in question, has received 9 cuts.
For those who have come in late, Jathedar of Sikh's supreme temporal seat Giani Gurbachan Singh had had issued a warning to the film's producer Ashwini Yardi and director Prabhu Dheva asking them to immediately withdraw the objectionable portions or else they may have to face Sikhs ire.
Explaining his stand, Giani Gurbachan Singh had said that Akal Takht secretariat had received complaints regarding objectionable content of the movie, which tantamount to sacrilege of Sikh's religious places as well as Sikh religious symbols which couldn't be tolerated at any cost.
Let's hope that the Sikh community has no more issues with the movie.
