Aamir Khan On Saif Ali Khan's Kaalakandi: Haven't Laughed This Much Since Delhi Belly
Aamir Khan has been always vocal when it comes to movies he loves. After watching Kaalakandi, he took to social media to share his thoughts and he was all praise for the flick.

"Kaalakandi is one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. Haven't laughed this much since I read the script of Delhi Belly. Absolutely loved all the performances. Saif was outstanding! What a debut Akshat! Proud of you. Don't miss this one guys. It releases tom. Love a (sic)," wrote Aamir.

Aamir had previously worked with Kaalakandi director Akshat Verma, who made Delhi Belly (2011).

Coming to Kaalakandi's plot, just a glance at the trailer and we can see that it is a wild ride.

It all starts with Saif at the doctor's clicking finding out that he is diagnosed with cancer. Then he is seen approaching a woman in the wickedest way. Then the excitement is ramped up with Saif’s character taking part in a crazy party at a nightclub, a car chase and plenty of gun shots are fired.

In between, we also get the glimpse of the other actors who are part of the film including Akshay Oberoi, Amyra Dastur, Shenaz Treasurywala and Neil Bhoopalam.

Taking a cue from what Aamir posted about Kaalakandi, the film is surely going to be a roller coaster ride with Saif’s character taking us into dark places. The film seems to be a raucous tale about life, death and karma that barrels through one monsoon night in Mumbai. Simultaneously, it talks about the journey of six characters from different walks of life.

Kaalakandi was slated to release on September 8. However, censor issues forced the makers to postpone the film to this Friday. It will face tough competition at the box-office from Anurag Kashyap's Mukkabaaz and Vikram Bhatt's Zareen Khan starrer 1921.
