Aamir Reveals The Title Of His Next With Big B
The actor also expressed his excitement about finally getting a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan
SpotboyE.com recently told you how Jackie Shroff might play the baddie in Yash Raj’s next featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan (Jackie Shroff to join Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in YRF’s next, Sep 4). Now, Aamir has shared interesting details of the film – the first and most important being the title of the movie. The actor revealed that the film is titled Thugs Of Hindostan.
You may remember that the project was initially titled Thug, when Hrithik Roshan was toplining the cast. Clearly, the male lead and the title have undergone a change since then.
Aamir expressed his enthusiasm about working with Big B. The actor wrote, “The moment I’ve been waiting for has come...to work with my icon, Mr Bachchan...I’m too thrilled to be working with the actor I have admired all of my life.”
Thugs Of Hindostan is reportedly based on the 1839 English novel, Confessions Of A Thug by Philip Meadows Taylor. The novel is a tale of crime and retribution, set in 1832 India. The plot reveals the practices of thugs, who killed travellers for money and valuables. Aamir also revealed that the film will go on floors early next year and will hit the screens on Diwali 2018.
