Ajay Devgn: Not Sunny Deol, I Am Doing Singham 3 With Rohit Shetty

Past few days, Sunny Deol’s name has been doing the
rounds to star in the third instalment of Singham.
News suggesting that Sunny even made a call to Ajay as a
gesture informing him that he is doing the third part and will use S3 instead
of Singham as the title of the film, was also the buzz yesterday.
However, in an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Ajay Devgn has
clarified that the news about Sunny Deol doing Singham 3 is baseless and
untrue. Ajay confirmed, “Rumours of Sunny Deol doing Singham 3 are untrue. I am
doing it. Rohit is working on the script.”
Well, that sets the record straight that it is Ajay Devgn
who will play the super cop Bajirao Singham in the third instalment as well.
Ajay even spoke about his forthcoming film starring
Sanjay Dutt and Farhan Akhtar which he will be producing. Ajay informed that
the film will go on floors by Dec 2017 or Jan 2018. Nishikant Kamat is
directing this venture.
Talking about Singham, well, it is one of the most
successful franchises Ajay Devgn is a part of. While the first part starred
Kajal Aggarwal, Kareena Kapoor romanced Ajay in the second instalment.
Both parts were directed by Rohit Shetty and as Ajay
confirms, third instalment will also be helmed by him.
Singham was a remake of the 2010 Tamil film Singam
featuring south sensations, Suriya and Anushka Shetty.
Well, with this confirmation from Singham himself, we’re
sure fans must be elated.
