Few hours back, Virat Kohli shared a video of wifey Anushka Sharma, who is seen scolding a mumbaiker for throwing a plastic bottle on the road. Taking to social media, the cricketer captioned the video as, “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right!!! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same and spread awareness. @anushkasharma”

In the video, Anushka first signals the driver to bring the car near her, and then she can be seen telling the passenger, “Why you throwing garbage on the road? Why you throwing plastic on the road? Please be careful. You can’t throw plastic like that on the streets. Use a dustbin!”
Later in the comments section, Virat also said, “Lot of people who don’t have courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame”
Anushka Sharma is one of the Bollywood celebrities who have come on board Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. She had said that she was honoured to be a part of the "noble initiative" and made the announcement on Twitter, where she also shared a letter from the PMO inviting her to join the cleanliness drive.
