Better Safe Than Sorry: Wajah Tum Ho Release Date Postponed

Dear Zindagi looks set to dominate the box office and then there is the much-hyped Kahaani 2. So, it is no surprise that Bhushan Kumar has decided to pull back the release of his erotic drama Wajah Tum Ho from December 2 to December 16
Sex sells but Dear Zindagi has made it amply clear that Shah Rukh Khan trumps all at the box-office. The combined might of SRK and Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi, has broken the gloomy spell that demonetization had cast on ticket counters.

After Rock On 2, Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 fell victim to the cash crunch, Dear Zindagi has become the first film to pull the audience back into theatres. The film managed to pull in 32 crores in its opening weekend and looks set to continue its run.

And then there is Kahaani 2 which reunites the killer combo of Vidya Balan and Sujoy Ghosh who gave us the superhit Kahaani. The film has got a strong buzz too.

With such strong competition, it is no wonder that T-Series has decided to push back the release of its erotic thriller Wajah Tum Ho, which stars Sana Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary, Sharman Joshi and Sherlyn Chopra.

The film banks heavily on the erotic pull of its leading ladies who have not shied away from stripping onscreen for some explicit love scenes.

But will the audiences pick the sex flick over Alia-Shah Rukh and Vidya?

The answer seems to have been clear to Bhushan who has moved Wajah Tum Ho from December 2 opening to December 16.

This new date also means that Wajah Tum Ho will be out of the way when Yash Raj Films' Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre releases.

Like they say, better safe than sorry.
