Dissension In The Censor Board: Ashoke Locks Horns With Pahlaj
Ashoke Pandit has let out a cat among the pigeons with his spate of recent tweets.

On February 11, CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) issued a circular to filmmakers asking them to stop using cuss words in films.

Ashoke Pandit, who is a member of the CBFC, has expressed disagreement with regards to this circular.

He is upset also because he was not consulted before this step was taken.

Giving vent to his anger, he has tweeted:

When contacted, Nihalani said, "Ashoke will have to follow the CBFC's guidelines. Cuss words were never supposed to be used in films. The earlier committee did not follow this rule. I have not brought about this rule in my personal capacity. WE are only going by the book."

Pandit remained unavailable for comment.

Is the dissension in CBFC going to grow and divide the team? Watch this space.
