The legendary couple, who got married on October 11th, 1966, completes 50 golden years today. It is said that Banu’s mother, Naseem Banu, played cupid between the couple and the couple got married when Banu was only 22 and Kumar was 44. Kumar and Banu have worked on several films such as Gopi (1970), Chhoti Bahu (1971), Sagina (1974), Bairaag (1976) and Duniya (1984) together. However, the actress quit acting after getting married and preferred being a homemaker.
