Guess Who Is Sushant Singh Rajput’s leading Lady In The Fault In Our Stars Remake?
There have been a lot of speculations going on about who will be playing the lead role in the official remake of The Fault In Our Stars. It was initially reported that Karan Johar had bought the rights of the film and he would be casting Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar in the film. Then there were reports suggesting that Varun Dhawan will play the lead. Finally, it was confirmed that Sushant Singh Rajput has been offered the film and he had given it a thumbs up.


The same sort of dilemma was on for the female lead as well. First there were reports that Alia Bhatt will star in the film, and then there was news about Kriti Sanon coming on board. Lastly, there were stories doing the round suggesting that Kriti's sister Nupur Sanon would make her B-Town debut with the film.

Finally we can confirm that the female will be a newbie - Sanjana Sanghi. Director Mukesh Chhabra took to social media to share the news.


Mukesh's tweet read, "Happy to announce that the talented and beautiful @SanjanaSanghi96 will be co-starring alongside @itsSSR in my debut directorial project #TheFaultInOurStars produced by @foxstarhindi & music by the master @arrahman (sic)."

Soon enough, Sushant went online to introduce his new on-screen ladylove.


Sushant's tweet read, "The beautiful @sanjanasanghi96 will be co-starring with me in the remake of the Hollywood hit #TheFaultInOurStars directed by @CastingChhabra & music by @arrahman @foxstarhindi (sic)."


Talking about the film, it's going to be produced by Fox Star Studios and it is expected to roll next year. The music of the film will be done by AR Rahman.
