Kareena Kapoor denied to us last week when we asked her if she has opted out from Rajkumar Gupta's upcoming film Section 84, but the whispers in Bollywood are growing louder by the day that Mrs Saif Ali Khan has decided not to star in Rajkumar Gupta's upcoming drama titled Section 84.
Gupta has waited for Kareena since quite some time, and he would be heartbroken if she drops the project.
The No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar director has not had an easy time on Section 84. Earlier Salman Khan was going to produce it. Now, Eros International has come on board instead.
Section 84 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) deals with acts of unsound minds: Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong or contrary to law. Kareena has been asked to play a schizophrenic in the film. That explains the title.
