His actions were
a consequence of the global controversy surrounding Facebook that happened few weeks back. The
billion-dollar company was
facing criticism over the claims that Cambridge Analytica, a UK-based data
analysis firm, which was hired by Donald Trump during his 2016 election
campaign, harvested and misused data of over 50 million members.
