Hrithik Roshan- Anushka Sharma's Satte Pe Satta Remake Makers Come Out Trumps; Duck The Raju Vs Raju War- EXCLUSIVE
We have been giving you all the right information in our stories on the Satte Pe Satta (1982 blockbuster hit) remake, being planned by director Farah Khan and the producers Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment. There was a big spanner in the spokes of this wheel, but Farah, Rohit and Reliance have evaded it. As things stand today, the trio is making the film.

The Obstacle

Leading publicist Raju Vasani said he has the rights of Satte Pe Satta remake.

And then there was this another Raju, Raju Shah to be precise, a film financier by profession. He went to town saying that he has the rights of Satte Pe Satta remake because Ashtavinatk had holdings in Satte Pe Satta, but since he was given a certain share in their slate when Ashtavinak ran into near insolvency and its proprietors (Raj Mehta, Dhillin Mehta) landed up in jail- it was only he who could sell the rights to anyone who was interested in making the remake.

Obviously, Rohit, Farah and Reliance spoke to the two Rajus at some point, but both Rajus went into a longish thinking-mode. You know how it is, we often don't realise that a bird in hand is worth two in a bush.

Obstacle was moved

So next, Farah, Rohit and Reliance straight headed to Warner Bors, who hold the rights of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (SBFSB); Satte Pe Satta was inspired by SBFSB. Farah wanted to make the remake of Satte Pe Satta since 2012, she had discussed with Shah Rukh Khan to reprise Bachchan's role but Khan was not too keen.

Anyway, SpotboyE.com has it that she along with Reliance and Rohit have come back with a smile; clearly some agreement has been done which gives a free signal to Farah, Rohit and Reliance.

Issues Now

Raju Vasani who must be trifle dejected that he lost a decent to good offer from Reliance and Rohit says that he will not allow the trio to name it as Satte Pe Satta 2. " I know they went to, but the title rests with me," adding, "Tag lines in the Satte Pe Satta title will not save the remake. Also, they need to go in for new character names and new songs. As for a remake on Satte Pe Satta, I shall produce it one day," Vasani asserts.

"The title is registered under my name with IFTPC. I have also paid the stamp duty. To top it all, even the original producer Romu Sippy has bleesed me for this," Vasani asserts more.

On the other hand, Shah is also perturbed. "Vasani and I had a good opportunity. We allowed it to slip away," he admits, adding, " But let's see, aage aage kya hota hai".

Shooting Commencement

SpotboyE.com has it that Farah, Rohit and Reliance are aiming to shoot from November 2020.

A few days ago the poster was released. The poster has India map which is covered in dark and there is a place which has three ways. The route is burning. Poster looks very intriguing and interesting.

The film is produced by Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Krishnaaa Motion Pictures. The star cast includes Rudranil Ghosh, Tnusree Chakrobarty, Rajatava Dutta, Debolina Biswas, Jeena Tarafder and others
