Akshay Kumar is one Bollywood actor who doesn’t forget to show his solidarity towards his country, especially the armed forces and this he has proven a lot of times.

It has not even been a week that the actor is bestowed with the honour of National Film Award for his performance in Rustom and now he has got a chance to meet PM Narendra Modi in Delhi.



Akshay uploaded a picture of him having a conversation with PM Narendra Modi and captioned it as “Met PM @narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha'. His smile at just the title made my day!”

As Akshay mentions, he was in talks with PM Modi about his upcoming film ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ which is based on PM Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It is a government campaign to improve the sanitation and cleanliness conditions in India, with emphasis on the reduction of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas.

Impressed by the creative thought behind the film, Prime Minister Modi is seen smiling in the picture.
