Kaabil Blind Man Hrithik Roshan Hits A Six: Trailer Review
Hrithik Roshan gets better when his role gets tougher- Lakshya, Koi Mil Gaya, Guzaarish, the list is long. And naturally, it's not easy to play a blind man. We are talking about his next film Kaabil whose trailer releases tomorrow.

SpotboyE.com saw the trailer with Hrithik Roshan, his father Rakesh Roshan (producer of Kaabil) and Sanjay Gupta (director of Kaabil) yesterday afternoon on the big screen and mind you, it was an experience.

While people have just been talking about Hrithik's voice after the teaser, it will be his dialogue delivery that will strike you now. He says his sentences with such correct pauses at such an optimum pace that you can't miss it that this blind character is groping in the dark in letter and spirit both.

Did you work on your dialogue delivery extensively for this one? Ask him that and he says, "No, it happened naturally. I first tend to get into the character and my dialogue delivery just follows." Rakesh Roshan beams with pride and we sit down for a second run.

"It's so emotion packed, it's really intense," is our second reaction.

We start sipping our coffee and discuss every other feature that stands out after two viewings:

Hrithik-Yami Gautam pairing, which one wondered if it would work when they were cast, exudes not just passion but compassion as well. You feel for Hrithik when his world turns topsy-turvy in the trailer and the makers have yet managed to not give it away all that transpires in that turning-point scene. You feel for Hrithik not just because he exudes talent from frame to frame but the manner in which his chemistry with Yami unfolds. "Plus, she looks so Indian," adds Hrithik.

The production values of the film are extremely high.  The colours in every frame are from the Roshan stable. Tell them that and pat comes the reply from Rakesh Roshan, "I never hold myself back in expenditure when it's a film from my production house Filmkraft."

The content of the dialogues promises a very entertaining film. "I have always kept in mind that I make a film to entertain the audience. I remember telling Gupta 'you can't go wrong with this one' and he hasn't." Gupta smiles proudly.

As we take their leave, Rakesh Roshan taps us to say that we still haven't heard the four beautiful songs of Kaabil from Rajesh Roshan.

Kaabil has been shot in 60 days. Every good dish doesn't need a long time to get ready. Of course the true experience will be when it is laid on the table in entirety on the Republic Day 2017 weekend, but till then the Roshans and Gupta have definitely given us enough to make us feel that this one will be not just style but substance as well.
