Kajol Joins Ajay To Counter Aishwarya-Ranbir-Anushka Star Power
Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma represented Team Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on The Kapil Sharma Show and now Kajol will boost the star power of Team Shivaay with husband Ajay Devgn
Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay are set for a battle royale at the box-office this Diwali.
Naturally, both teams are trying their best to outsmart each other.
All three of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's stars- Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma- made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show on Wednesday and went all out with their crowd-pleasing antics to tickle the funny bone (Aishwarya On Kapil Sharma's Show for ADHM but Ranbir-Anushka Rule With Virat Jokes, October 20).

Now, Ajay Devgn is headed to the comedy show hosted by Kapil Sharma and yes, he wants to one-up on Team Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Shivaay's newcomers Sayesha Saigal and Erika Kaa will accompany Ajay but the actor has found an interesting way to boost Team Shivaay's star power.
Ajay will get his wife Kajol, when he shoots for the show on Saturday. This will be the first time that Kajol will be seen with Ajay on The Kapil Sharma platform.

This is an interesting development as Kajol tends to avoid the media unless she has one of her own films to promote. But this time she is going all out to support Ajay.
This solidarity is also important as it sends out a loud and clear message to Karan Johar (FRIENDSHIP KA THE END: Kajol caught in the Ajay-Karan Crossfire). In the battle between BFF and husband, Kajol has again decided to side her husband.

Rewind: Kajol and Karan's equation (they became very thick friends during the making of Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) went sour following a row and interestingly Ajay was at the centre of it. Ajay reportedly confronted Karan over the phone about rumours which claimed that the filmmaker was bad-mouthing him behind his back. The allegation was vehemently denied by Karan but Ajay was not appeased. Kajol chose to side with her husband.
Kajol recently took a trip to the US with him to promote the Devgn production Shivaay overseas. It was then itself clear that she was making a firm statement about her allegiances.
Back to the present: The true winner in Bollywood's Karan-Ajay fued however is The Kapil Sharma Show and of course Sony Entertainment Television.
