Music composer Ram Sampath thrown out of Force 2

Ram Sampath was in for a shock recently when he heard that Salim-Sulaiman were composing the music for Force 2. You see, Sampath had already been roped in for the John Abraham-Sonakshi Sinha starrer. So what exactly happened?
Ahinay Deo, the director of Force 2, had approached Sampath to compose music for the film. The music director happily came on board – after all, the two had previously worked on Delhi Belly. Sampath had almost finalised the deal with the film’s team.
However, we hear, producer Vipul Shah and the director had a long discussion, following which they decided to sign Salim-Sulaiman for the project.

When contacted, Abhinay said, “We had a few names in mind and one of them was Ram. But we were also talking to other people at the same time.”
On the other hand, Shah simply said, “Ram was never a part of this project.”
