Soon after wrapping the Bulgaria schedule of Brahmastra; Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji boarded the same flight back to India. But guess what? Ranbir Kapoor got off at London (the flight had a layover at Heatthrow Airport).

Incidentally, Ranbir’s good friend Mahira was also in Londres, promoting her recent controversial Pakistani film Verna. She was scheduled to do an interview with BBC for their chat show Hardtalk and discuss the #MeToo South Asia chapter with host Stephen Sackur.

We have learnt through a reliable source that Ranbir and Mahira did meet up in London. It’s quite obvious that the Kapoor lad still has a soft corner for the Raees actress, and so does she.

Buzz is that they caught up spent some quality time together in London, which is in the throes of spring at the moment and dolled up with pretty flowers, a very romantic setting we must confess.   

Well, it wasn’t just - all play and no work for this Jack - in London. While Mahira is back in Pakistan (she burnt the dance floor with her desi thumkas at a friend’s wedding in Karachi), Ranbir is still in London, where he will spend some time learning Indian martial arts forms, including Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai for the fight sequences in Brahmastra.
