Rishi Gets Treated In NYC, Ranbir's Ladylove Alia Reaches To Be With Kapoors

Rishi Kapoor is in New York since the past few weeks for medical treatment. From Sonali Bendre to Priyanka Chopra to Anupam Kher all have been going there to meet the Kapoors. Now, Ranbir Kapoor's ladylove Alia Bhatt has also reached New York. The actress has taken to social media to post her first picture from America.

Alia, who wrapped up a shooting schedule of Kalank in Kargil, left straight for the US last night. She is there to comfort beau Ranbir in such a time of strife. Alia captioned the pic as, "The Big Apple (sic)." Check it out right here:

Alia is taking time off from work to spend some quality time with the Kapoors. The Kapoors have been having a tough time since the past few weeks. First it was Rishi's treatment for which he left for the US, and just a couple of days later, the Kapoor matriarch, Krishna Raj Kapoor, passed away. Even though Rishi and Ranbir couldn't be a part of the funeral, Alia was present throughout. And, she made sure that Ranbir got to saw his dadi's last journey. She had video called him from the crematorium - a gesture that was appreciated by all on social media.

Rishi, before flying off to the US, had asked fans not to speculate about any specific illness. Taking to Twitter, he had written, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon! (sic)." We wish Mr Kapoor a speedy recovery.
