Bad news for Mrs Aamir Khan, as report of her house in Bandra being robbed is abuzz. Kiran Rao lives with Aamir Khan at Carter Road, but her home is at another locality in Bandra.
As reported by a leading daily, a complaint was filed by Rao’s relative and the police have registered a first information report under Section 453 (theft in dwelling house, etc) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the complaint, Rao discovered sometime last week that a ring and a diamond necklace were missing from her bedroom. Following this, her relative filed the complaint at the Khar police station, under whose jurisdiction the family home falls.
The report further suggests that the police consider the domestic help as prime suspects and have been questioning the three of them over the last five days. The police officials pick up the house helps early in the morning, grill them with questions entire day and then leave them back home in the evening.
Kiran Rao has not commented on the matter till now.
Those being questioned have been identified as: the household cook Farzana, Rao’s assistant Suzanna, and domestic help Jhumki, according to sources. They are being questioned at Khar police station, where, sources said, they are made to sit from morning till evening.
The police have also visited the homes of the three in their quest to find the missing necklace and ring but have not come up with solid leads so far.
