Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara is interested in making a career in Bollywood and she will any moment lock her debut project. The latest update, which looks to be quite positive, is that Sara might star opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy.

And if that happens, Sara and Ranveer will become one of the highly unconventional and highly anticipated pair on-screen.
Gully boy is a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai’s chawls-Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy. Ranveer Singh will play one of the rappers in the film. Zoya has been prepping for the film since a while now.
Reportedly both the producers-Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, along with Zoya, have been in talks with Sara for a while now and they are almost in the final stages of discussion with her.

Interestingly, Sara's mother and talented actress, Amrita Singh is quite fed-up with all the news about Sara's debut. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, she even mentioned how she doesn't dig in Sara's professional life at all. Amrita said, "Sara is being handled by Anirban (Blah) and his talent agency, which brings me to the point that all questions related to her professional life should be directed to them. I am not answerable for Sara’s choices. She is an intelligent graduate from Columbia who wishes to become an actor. She is not a fool. She can make her own choices. She has lived in New York all by herself. I am not answerable about what my daughter wears or justify her choice of cinema."(Amrita Singh: I Have No Problem With How My Daughter Sara Dresses; She Knows What Is Right And Wrong, Oct 4
Coming back to Gully Boy, reports also suggest that Zoya Akhtar and her script writer Reema Kagti have been closely following the journey of these rappers. They have been spending a lot of time with Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy to get insights into their lives for the musical drama.
So if all goes well and if there is any truth in these reports this time, wait to see Sara and Ranveer sizzle on the screen for the first time!
