Sex Scenes Alright, But Preity Zinta Has Nothing To Fear
Preity Zinta is reportedly having sleepless nights, thanks to a risqué character in a web series based on the murky underbelly of Indian cricket. But she can rest easy!
This morning we woke up to the news that Farhan Akhtar’s web series Inside Edge (to be aired on Amazon Prime Video) based on the murky backstage dealings of the Indian Premiere League, will feature a bondage sex scene between Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha.
Richa plays an IPL team owner, who beds the founder of the league (played by Vivek), in lieu of financial help and BDSM shenanigans follow. The problem is that Richa’s character is said to be based on Preity Zinta.
Reportedly, Preity got wind of this and called producer Farhan Akhtar with some burning questions. The feisty actress made inquiries about Richa’s character and asked Farhan to give her a peek of Inside Edge before it started streaming.

This evening, SpotboyE.com called up the web series director Karan Anshuman to get to the bottom of this.
“Yes, there is an interesting sex scene but the character has nothing in common with Preity Zinta,” Anshuman told us.
Added Anshuman, “That way, we have Shilpa Shetty too in IPL. But again, there is nothing about her per se as well. Inside Edge is simply alternative reality. There are some interesting sex scenes in the series but they do not co-relate to anyone in real life.”
The series directed by the former film critic is set to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from July.
If Preity Zinta indeed called Farhan Akhtar, she can now put her head on the pillow and relax!
