Arpita Tiwary, a 24-year old anchor, was found dead under
mysterious circumstances at a Malad highrise, on December 11, 2017. The
deceased was found semi-nude and appeared to have fallen from the 15th floor of
her boyfriend’s building.

On Jan 4, five men last seen with Arpita underwent a
lie-detector test at the Directorate of Forensic Sciences Laboratory (DFSL),
Kalina.

Latest development in this mysterious case is that the
police has finally made an arrest.

Accused Amit Hazra, was arrested by the Malwani police,
earlier today. The arrest was made under section of 302 and 201. Amit will be
in police custody till January 20. Cops made the arrest on the basis
of his confession and testimony.
