Sridevi Prayer Meet: Jaya Prada, Tabu, Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja Pay Their Last Respects

The mortal remains of Sridevi are kept at the Celebration Sports Club, Lokhandwala for fans and celebrities to pay their last respects.

Farah Khan, Urvashi Rautela, Aditya Thackrey and Arbaaz Khan were amongst the first ones at the venue. Now, a few minutes ago, Hema Malini and Esha Deol, Jaya Prada, Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja and Tabu were seen at the Celebration Sports Club.

Rishi Kapoor and Mohit Marwah reached the venue early in the morning to oversee preparations.

The prayer meet will go on till 2 pm, post which, the late actress’ last journey will commence from the Celebration Club to Pawan Hans, where her funeral will take place.

We had told you that about 40-45 buses full of Miss Hawa Hawai's fans had started from Chennai and Hyderabad last night and are at the prayer meet venue.

Meanwhile, a bevy of stars such as Rekha, Waheeda Rehman, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Tabu, Rani Mukerji, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Karisma Kapoor among others visited Anil Kapoor’s residence (in the past three days) to extend their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Sridevi’s mortal remains were brought back to Mumbai at 10 pm last night. Earlier in the day, Arjun Kapoor had flown out to Dubai to be by Boney’s side in the time of crisis. The actress’ case stands closed by Dubai authorities and the final medical report states cause of death as ‘accidental drowning’.
