Not many people know that Sridevi was not just a talented
actress but a gifted painter as well. The English Vinglish star, was an avid
artist and in fact, she was supposed to auction a bunch of her work in Dubai,
later this year. But the almighty had other plans for this wonderful human
being.
SpotboyE.com has learnt that a fine of piece of art
created by Sridevi, the artist, hangs in Boney Kapoor’s office. It’s a prized
possession for the family, and they cherish it with all their heart.
Sridevi lives on, not just in the hearts of the Kapoor
family but also millions of her fans across the world. Yesterday, we had
brought the story of one such ardent fan to you. Tonu Sojatia, a Pune
based photographer, has painted images of Sridevi all over her car. She
drove down all the way to Mumbai to meet with her screen idol’s husband Boney
Kapoor.
It was during this heart rending meeting with Boney, that
the producer introduced Tonu and her friends to Sridevi’s gorgeous hand painted
canvas, that proudly hangs in his office.

It is believed that this isn’t the only piece of art that
was created by the diva. One of her most impressive works, is a painting of
Sonam Kapoor. Sridevi created it just before the release of Sonam’s debut film
Saawariya (2007).

According to reports, this painting was the star piece
amongst the lot that was to be auctioned at Dubai.
