Vivek Oberoi Roasts His Salman Khan Controversy, Riteish Deshmukh Confirms Project With Sajid Khan
If one was to talk of controversies associated with Vivek Oberoi, his infamous spat with Salman Khan is probably the only one that comes to mind.

It’s well-known that Vivek had accused Salman of threatening him via phone calls at a press conference he called upon in 2003, post which they have not been on talking terms. The former was in a relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at that point of time.

14 years since the incident and Vivek chose to remind fans and the fraternity about the spat during the promotions of his upcoming film, Bank Chor which also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Rhea Chakraborty.

In what can be termed as a unique way to spread the word about the film, the makers had invited the media to roast Vivek and Riteish yesterday at YRF Studios.

While beginning the session Vivek said, “Last time jab maine press conference bulayi thi, tab meri tashreef lag gayi thi…” making the obvious reference to the memorable press conference.

To emphasise on what he means, he added, “Those who didn’t get this, I would say you all are a Tubelight.”

Since Vivek is playing the character of a cop in Bank Chor, a journalist quizzed him asking if he likes Tubelight's (referring to Salman Khan's cop act in the Dangal franchise) cop stint?

Pat came the reply, “Yes, I did like it and will watch part 3 (Dabangg 3) also.

At this moment, Riteish jumped in and said, “He usually says the stuff he shouldn't be saying and keeping a secret is far from his ability of doing it," and needless to say, the attendees burst into laughter.

To talk of Riteish, he was in his element and gave a number of laugh out loud moments. For instance, he took a dig Y-Films (producers of Bank Chor) by saying, "Y-Films never gives cheques on time."

It was during the course of the event that the actor gave out the news of reuniting with his friend-filmmaker Sajid Khan. The actor stated, "I'll give you the headlines, me and Sajid are soon going to reunite as I'll be doing his next film."

Quite a fun event, we say!
