Dear Meera, guess we should always take a step back and
listen to what we're saying before making statements, especially when you're a
For those who are finding it hard to recall who Meera Chopra is, well, the actress was last seen in films like 1920: London and Gang Of Ghosts, which were a blink and miss at the box-office.
But with her latest comment on Kangana Ranaut, looks like Meera wants to give others a piece of her mind or maybe steal a bit of limelight in the blinding chaos?
Sharing her views on Kangana Ranaut's controversies, Meera tweeted, “#KanganaRanut i really love u as an actress but ur personallife #saga is getting too much now! High time u stop and let ur movies talk!”
Not to my surprise, Meera is already being trolled on social media but
what is surprising is that it's coming from Meera Chopra.
Meera is nowhere involved in this controversy. Even if we give her the benefit of doubt of exercising her right to free speech yet why say something which you have personally not achieved in your life?
I don't know whether Kangana is right or wrong. Whatever she is saying about her personal life is true or untrue. But does that matter here?
Meera Chopra At An Event
The problem here is not Meera expressing her views, hell no! The entire world seems to be having an opinion on social media now, including me, but to target an actress whose body of work has got her where she is today and telling her to let her movies 'talk' is surely obnoxious!
Interestingly, in an earlier interview, Kangana had revealed how Priyanka and a few more B-Town celebs had called to check on her when her personal life was going through a turmoil.
She had said, “All my girls are just amazing. We are so thick. We don’t discuss our personal lives, like nobody ever questioned me, ‘What happened?’, but all I get is calls, lots of love and concern. Everybody has called me and asked me, whether it’s Priyanka, Vidya or Sonam. A lot of men have responded too…
But, looks like Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera has some other song to sing.
