August 15 will
see John Abraham locking horns with Akshay Kumar. It's a holiday-laden weekend,
but two films cannot have the same collections. So, who will draw larger
crowds- Excel Entertainment's Gold or T-Series and Nikkhil Advani's Satyamev
Jayate? John Abraham wanted
his Parmanu to clash with Anushka Sharma's Pari. That it didn't happen is
a different story. But now, he is taking on a mighty lion- Akshay Kumar. It
will be interesting to see who garners more collections, August 15- Gold or
Satyamev Jayate.
Milap Zaveri who
has directed the John Abraham led film says, "If they are Gold, we are
bold," and then adds, "On a serious note, I don't think it's a clash.
Both films have a different audience. It's a long weekend, we have quite a few
holidays coming up- Parsi New Year, Eid." On the other hand, when we contacted Reema
Kagti this evening, she quipped, "Good luck to both films."

John Abraham,
when asked, had made it clear that Satyamev Jayate would be a better commercial
proposition on a big holiday along with Gold, rather than alone a week later.

It maybe recalled
that Akshay Kumar, on the other hand a few days later to John's perspective,
had an extremely witty reply on the lines of, "We are all friends.
We can release our films together on the same date. So, next time, I shall do
