Fans waited with
baited breath to see what these beauties wear it to the celebrated gala and
trust me, they didn’t disappoint!
Starting with
Deepika Padukone, the leggy lass chose white for the evening. The sheer gown by
Zuhair Murad was no less than hotness personified. With a deep neck and a
dramatic cape, Deepika looked like a goddess. She twirled her tresses in big
waves and kept it simple in terms of her make-up and accessories.
And now coming to
the lady, who made her Cannes debut this year- Kangana Ranaut. The Queen chose
a rather regal look for the red carpet. Just like Deepika, she also wore a
sheer Zuhair Murad gown but the colour Kangana chose was more beige and gold.
Kangana
experimented a bit with her hair-do and tied a messy bun. Her make-up, as
compared to Deepika, was nude but strikingly different.
Between the two-
my weighing scale would tilt slightly towards Deepika, only for her look’s
grandness. She nailed it and how. But full points to Kangana as well, for not
failing in her debut. It takes a lot to live up to the pressure and Kangy baby
did well!
