Walter White Is Alive, Breaking Bad To Have Season 6

Show co-creater Vince Gillian announces that Walter White is not dead and Breaking Bad will return with a sixth season

Breaking Bad fans rejoice, the creator of the iconic series has confirmed that there will be a sixth season and shooting will begin this December. Vince Gilligan made the announcement during an exclusive media interaction and said that they had kept the news under wraps for a while. He also said that the show was going to be "epic".

More importantly, he said that the sixth season will be true to the countless fans of the show. He also clarified that this was not his way of milking money from the iconic franchise and said that he had always wanted to return to the characters.

Even more importantly, Vince has announced that Walter White is alive and that nobody ever saw the body bag zip up. Traditionally, when a character dies in a crime series, the dead body is put in a body-bag and the zip closes, but a scene like that never made its way onto Breaking Bad.

The Breaking Bad series already has a spin-off, Better Call Saul, a series that tells about the life and times of Saul, played by Ben Odenkirk, who first entered the franchise as the lawyer who saves Bryan Cranston’s character, Walter White.

Breaking Bad made its debut in 2008 and had a total of 5 seasons, the last running between 2012 and 2013. The series has received widespread critical and commercial acclaim and has won countless awards.
