Netflix movie Raat Akeli Hai, a crime drama helmed by Honey Trehan premiered today on the OTT platform. Starring versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal role of inspector Jatil Yadav who comes on board to solve mystery behind a murder, the actor has already got appreciations for his performance. Now his co-star Shweta Tripathi and Aditya Srivastava too couldn’t stop praising him. In an exclusive chat with our host Manish Batavia, the actors shared their experience of working with him and how wonderful it was
When the host asked how the Sacred Games actor spreads his magic with his craft of acting, Shweta states the actor was amazing, calling him a team player. Recalling the time when she worked with him for the digital movie, Haraamkhor she mentioned though she barely shot with him for 16 days she learnt a lot. She also mentioned how the senior actor helped her and taught her nitty gritties of acting, without literally being a teacher to her. Adding further she also shared how the actor always made sure to brighten up the mood, whenever there was an intense scene, which led to the actress to understand not to take life seriously all the time. CID famed actor Aditya Srivastava too followed the suit by calling Nawazuddin Siddiqui as khatarnak and intelligent actor, also mentioning director-actor Tigmanshu Dhulia being one of it, as they just happen to lit the screen as soon as the camera goes on. Also the actor mentions their on the spot improvising keeps the actor opposite them on an alert mode.
