Shankar Mahadevan Recreates Breathless, Pays Tribute To Vibrant India
Shankar Mahadevan began his music journey in the mid-1990s. The song, Breathless, made him a household name as it became a hit in that year. The song gained popularity because of the singer’s ability to sing the whole song in a single breath. The song was released in 1998, and even till today people are a huge fan of this Shankar Mahadevan track.

Now, after almost 20 years, Shankar has recreated the track, with some changes. This time around, the breathless song highlights the achievements of the Narendra Modi government. Check out the song right here:

He captioned the post: "Non stop India!  A tribute to our vibrant nation and the new heights of development we are scaling. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳#IndependenceDay2018  Hon’ble PM   @narendramodi (sic)."

The composition is indeed brilliant.

Pretty soon, the tweet went viral as the Prime Minister himself also took notice of it and shared it.

Sharing the tweet Modi wrote, "Lovely composition @Shankar_Live ! For many, it brings back memories of ‘Breathless.’  Like your song, 125 crore Indians are working nonstop for India’s progress! (sic)."
