Twitter Suspends Rapper Hard Kaur’s Account After She Posts Video Using Abusive Words For PM Modi And Amit Shah

Speaking in favour of the Khalistan movement, rapper Hard Kaur, who has been posting some rather objectionable content on her Twitter handle of late, shared a recent video that led to her Twitter account being suspended.

Speaking in favour of the Khalistan movement, rapper Hard Kaur, who has been posting some rather objectionable content on her Twitter handle of late, shared a recent video that led to her Twitter account being suspended. The 2.20-minute-long clip saw her side with Khalistani supporters and use abusive and objectionable language for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

While talking about and addressing PM Modi and Amit Shah, the lady used expletives, in the video that soon went viral on social media, before Kaur’s account was suspended.

A few days back, a video of Hard Kaur accusing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had surfaced. The singer went on a rant and repeatedly used cuss words at the two in the short clip following which she was charged with a defamation case.

Hard Kaur has been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including sedition and defamation for her posts on social media. According to a leading portal, Kaur has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 124A (sedition, attempt to excite disaffection or hatred), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion), 500 (defamation) and 505 (intent to incite), and section 66 of the IT Act (for sending offensive messages).
