Chef’s Song Tere Mere: Saif Ali Khan Woos Padmapriya In This Soulful Number

A few days ago, the makers of Chef released an upbeat peppy number, Shugal Laga Le. Now, the second song from the film has been unveiled. Tere Mere is a soulful number which is composed by Amaal Mallik and crooned by his brother Armaan.

Check out the song:

The track is very soothing. In the song you see Saif Ali Khan trying to cope with his work and personal life. Rashmi Virag expresses the character’s struggle very efficiently with the lyrics. The music is an amalgamation of Indian music and alternative rock. Instruments like Chinese flutes, Bansuri, Dobros, and Banjos are the highlight of the track.

A while ago, T-Series released the song on Twitter with the caption: “Bridge the distance in love #TereMerehttp://bit.ly/TereMere_VideoSong …#SaifAliKhan #Padmapriya @RajaMenon @ChefFilmIndia @AmaalMallik @ArmaanMalik22.”

The first track Shugal Laga Le has already received a positive response. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is based on the 2014 Hollywood hit by the same name, which not only starred Jon Favreau in the lead role but was also directed by him. Scarlett Johansson and Sofia Vergara were also a part of the film.

And now, coming to our desi version of Chef, apart from Nawab Pataudi the film stars child artiste Svar Kamble, who plays Saif’s son, Padmapriya (who plays Saif’s wife) and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Svar, who hails from Mumbai has earlier worked in 2016 Bollywood film, Chidiya.
