Sony SAB’s upcoming show, Tenali Rama is in the
limelight because of its star cast. The show is based on Tenali Rama, a
legendary poet in Krishnadevraya’s court who uses his ingenious methods to
solve even the trickiest problems.
With an already popular star cast like Krishna Bharadwaj
and Priyamvada Kant who have been roped in to play the lead characters, the
latest addition is the gorgeous actress Barkha Bisht. And this is what she
looks like in the show:
Barkha Bisht Turns Goddess Kalimata
Barkha will be seen in a cameo yet a pivotal role of
Goddess Kaali.
Barkha Bisht who could not hide her excitement about the
show said, “I am very thrilled to be a part of Tenali Rama which is a very
interesting folk tale. Though it's a cameo, my part is vital to the show and
I'm very excited depicting a goddess on screen. This role is different from
what I have been doing and audience will get see me in a totally different
avatar. I am sure the audience will love my short stint in the show.”
Barkha In Totally A Different Avatar
Barkha was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt's Namkaran. And her
exit from the show also created many rumours of her not being happy with the
track. Well, this is not for the first time Barkha is playing a mythological
character. Before this the actress played Anjani in Sony TV's Sankat Mochan
Mahabali Hanuman.
Mouni Roy and Pooja Banerjee have also played Goddess
Kaali on-screen.
