Amitabh Bachchan will be back this year with Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 and the preparations for the popular show are going full steam ahead

sent his fans into a tizzy when he hinted at his return to the small screen as
the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9. That was December 2016. And now,
it’s happening.

at Film City when we saw a lot of hustle bustle on a new set which was being
erected. We snooped around and found out that it was the set for Kaun Banega
Crorepati Season 9.

also tell you that the show runners will have to be on their toes this time
because they will be on a tight schedule.
Bachchan has
given 17 days to the show so far, 10 days in August and seven days in
September.
This means that
either they will have to shoot 30 episodes in 17 days or Bachchan will have to allocate more days
to Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Crorepati first started airing in the year 2000, the whole nation turned
towards the small screen at 9pm sharp--just to get a glimpse of the legend that is Amitabh Bachchan.
After the frenzy
created by mythological dramas like Ramayana and Mahabharat, this was the first
time that a show had become appointment viewing for the country.
That has been the
kind of magic the Indian megastar managed to weave on television. But the show
has had quite long breaks between seasons. The last season was aired in 2014,
and we have missed the game show, and its inimitable host.
And now Bachchan
will be back with a bang!
