Strange are the ways of telly land! We have a solid
khabar from a closed door meeting at Colors’ Head Quarters that a brand new
Naagin show will hit your TV screens, rather soon.
Shocked? Don’t be. SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell
you that Ekta Kapoor’s high TRP raking Naagin series will air on Star Plus,
rather than Colors due to budget concerns.
Surbhi, Anita And Karishma
Colors might have lost out on Ekta’s Naagin, but there’s
no stopping them from launching a brand new Naagin show of their own, on their
channel.
Naagin on Colors will be helmed by Rashmi Sharma. The
makers had even mistakenly dropped a promo of the show online. Or was it not
really a mistake? We wonder. The first look was compelling, though no faces
were revealed.

Ekta Kapoor has signed a 3-show deal with Star Plus for a
spin off of Ye Hai Mohhabatein, Kasautii Zindagii Kay remake and Naagin 3.
The first two installments in the Naagin franchise
aired on Colors. This is the first time that Naagin will telecast on Star India
Network. Season 3 of the show stars Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna and Anita
Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri and Rajat Tokas.
