Bigg Boss 10, Day 94: Mona-Vikrant Exchange Wedding Vows

After a romantic, fairytale like proposal (Another Marriage In The Bigg Boss House – Vikrant Proposes To Mona Lisa , Jan 16) and a fun-filled mehendi ceremony last evening (Bigg Boss 10, Day 93: Mona & Vikrant’s Haldi Ceremony Gets Underway, Jan 17), Mona Lisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot’s big day arrives. The housemates wake up to Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, heightening the anxiety levels and spirit inside the house.
As the inmates take a walk around the house, they are thrilled to find the entire house decorated with flowers as well as a mandap set up in the garden area. The contestants relish the moment and gear up for the ceremonies to be held during the day.
At the start of the day, Vikrant is seen pulling Mona’s leg, telling her that this may be her last and finale chance to give their marriage a second thought. He further tells her she shouldn’t complain later saying that everything happened in the twinkling of an eye and she didn’t get time to think. Being the shy soon-to-be bride, Mona blushes. She says she is very confident about her decision.
Mona’s mehendi ceremony commences, where all the housemates dance to popular mehendi songs while the bride-to-be gets her hands adorned with beautiful henna. Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar express their enthusiasm and get M3 (Manu-Mona-Maneer) mehendi tattooed on their hands. VJ Bani and Lopamudra Raut, too, join in the dancing and masti. Vikrant, grooves to the hit Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge), while a shy Mona looks on.
When the ceremony is underway, Mona’s mother makes a surprising entry. Mona gives her a bone-crushing hug while ushering her inside the house. Mona’s mother bring along with her the traditional shaakar pola (bangles) and sindoor.
As the function continues, baaratis Dinesh Lal, Amrapali (Vikrant’s friends), and his sister make a grand entry. Dumbstruck, Mona thanks all the guests for being a part of her wedding.
The highlight of the evening is when the Panditji performs the puja, followed by the pheras, saath vachan, sindoor, and varmala ceremony. While Mona’s mother performs her kanyadaan, Vikrant’s sister does the gathbandhan. Once the rituals are done, Mona and Vikrant seek blessing from everyone, while thanking their family and friends for all the love they showered on them (by talking into the camera).
Following the end of the ceremony, Mona prepares the first bhog (meal) and feeds Vikrant and the others present.
To ensure that the celebrations are top-notch, Bigg Boss asks the housemates and the newlyweds to put up a dance performance for the grand wedding reception that will be held in the garden area. Manu and Manveer are handed the responsibility to host the evening. The housemates enter the garden area where they find a brightly lit stage.
As the reception is about to start, Mona’s co-actor, Ravi Kishan makes a dhamakedaar entry dancing to Dhina Dhin Dha, surprising everyone. He further sets the stage on fire by dancing to 440 Volt along with Bani and Lopa. After wishing the newlyweds a happy married life, Ravi Kishan calls hosts - Manu and Manveer - back on stage. Being at their humorous best, Manu and Manveer kick-start the function by narrating Mona and Vikrant’s love story while they effortlessly imitate them.
Up next, the housemates give a spectacular performance to a mash up of Joote Do Paise Do and Aivayi Aivayi Loot Gaya.
