Now, SpotboyE.com caught up with Ekta to know the reality but her tweet. When asked about Shweta’s claims and her reply to them, she said, “Main unke liye kaise bol sakti hoon? I don’t want to discuss it. Mujhe react hi nahi karna chahiye tha. She is very pretty and whenever she is ready, will definitely consider her.”
Shweta, on her part, later clarified to the newspaper that it was not Ekta but a higher up at Balaji Telefilms who thought of Palak. The team asked her if she would be open to letting her daughter do the role. However, when she asked Palak, the latter was of the opinion that she wants to concentrate on studying at this point of time and not get embroiled in working for long hours.

Shweta Tiwari, in the interview, had clearly stated that she does not impose anything on her daughter and she takes her decisions. “I never force anything on her or tell her what to do. She’s a very intelligent girl. She wants to be an actress; she has already decided that if she will do anything in her life then it will be related to this industry. But, she’s the one who takes her own call and says no or yes to projects,” she had said. Well, we are glad that things are clear between the actress and Ekta.
