I lost my mom 3 years ago, but she is still alive in my memories. With her, every day was special. She was my best friend and I used to share everything with her. We used to eat out, go shopping... it was so much fun. I especially miss her on my birthdays.

I lost my mother 12 years ago. There are many memories of her, but I remember one particular incident very fondly. I have always loved dancing and one day, my mom joined one of my dance sessions. We even choreographed a dance routine for our family.

A few years ago, when I was hospitalised for a week, my mother dropped everything else and refused to leave my side. She even slept on the sofa that entire week. Having said that, mom has always been selfless in her love for me and my sister -- she’d do anything to see us happy.

My mother is my pillar of strength. Whatever I am today is because of her. I can’t thank her enough for the values she has inculcated in me. This Mother’s Day, I want to take her out, treat her to her favourite delicacies and go shopping. Recently, I won the Maharashtra Government’s award (for The Best Actress Debut), and I dedicated it to my mom.

I am very close to my mom, she has always supported me no matter what. She is my world and I take no decision without her consent. This year, I am organising a trip for my mom and all her sisters. They are all busy with their respective families and this way, they will be able to spend some quality time together.

As a naughty child, I have gone ‘missing’ from my home many times. One day, my dad told me that whenever I disappeared, my mom would leave everyone and everything behind and wander about searching for me. I felt so guilty that day, it’s difficult to explain. Everytime I strayed, my mother brought me back on the right track. Whatever I am today, is all because of her.

My mom is my biggest supporter and best friend. She has made me really strong and her blessings are the reason for all my happiness. Now that I am a mother myself, I am waiting for my kids to surprise me today!

When I am with my mom, I keep following her everywhere, even inside the house. In fact, a lot of people call me ‘Mama's Boy’. Trust me, I love that tag, as I see nothing wrong with it. Having said that, my mom has raised me as a strong, independent individual.

I miss my mother a lot as she is at home in Assam and I am here in Mumbai. In fact, I was not able to stay a second without her till my college days. Once, I had a class test the day after my birthday, and obviously, I was more keen on celebrating than studying. On top of that, someone gifted me a slam book and I wasted all my time visiting friends and getting it filled. When the results came, my scores were so bad, my mom tore that book into pieces. But when I started crying, she lovingly explained the value of education and got me a new slam book.

As a kid, I was extremely naughty and stubborn. Once, I spotted a toy rifle in a shop and promptly demanded it. When my mom refused, I threw a tantrum by bawling my heart out. I even threatened to sleep on the road unless I was given that toy. Finally, mom relented saying she’d gift it if I do well in my exams. Though I started studying earnestly, my mother didn’t wait for the results to buy it for me. Even today, she makes sure my sister and I get the best of everything.
