Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Kiku Sharda & Chandan Prabhakar Return On Sony
Kapil Sharma claims that he will soon make a comeback on television. Is he back with a show on Sony? Or is the collaboration for something else?
Stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma is gearing up for the
release of his upcoming film, Firangi. Closer to release he has planned a
publicity campaign and is hopping from one city to another.
SpotboyE.com has it that Kapil shot for a special episode
called ‘Firangi Nights’ on Friday for Sony Entertainment Television
and guess what? Navjot Singh Sidhu, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar joined
him for the show.
We hear, Kapil will host the show just like he did during
The Kapil Sharma Show (where celebs turned up to promote their upcoming
releases) and Firangi’s cast will make an appearance to spread the word about
the film.
Sidhu will be doing what he does best while Kiku and
Chandan will perhaps reprise their roles of The Kapil Sharma Show.
For those who have come in late, Kapil Sharma beat
Sunil Grover in March this year on their flight to Mumbai. He
also ridiculed Kiku Sharda, Alia Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar during the same
trip. As a result, Sunil, Ali and Chandan deserted the show. Kiku, however,
continued to be part of the show.
Months later, Chandan returned to The Kapil Sharma
Show stating
that he has forgiven Kapil and that his love for him is greater than his self
esteem.
As things stand today, Kapil and Sony have mutually
decided to take a break from the show after the former’s health (or, was
tantrums?) became an issue of grave concern.
Let’s see if the audience warms up to ‘Firangi Nights’.
