Maniesh Paul Demands Chopper From Makers Of Show, Gets Chopped Instead!

Maniesh Paul was all set to appear on the web series Stupid Man Smart Phone, but alas it was not to be.

Ironically, true to the show’s name, the popular TV host thought he is doing something smart- but it ended up being a stupid move.

Maniesh had flown to Udaipur in Rajasthan for the show but before he could start shooting, he was replaced.

The crew was all set to leave Udaipur for Jaisalmer, where Maniesh and the show’s host, Sumeet Vyas,  were to shoot in the Thar desert. But when Maniesh was told that they will travel by road, he put his foot down.

The actor said that he wants a chopper to fly to the desert. This demand shocked the makers of the show, which airs on the digital platform Voot.

So, instead of tolerating his starry tantrums, the producers of the show simply decided to replace Maniesh Paul.

Internet star and comedian Sahil Khattar stepped into the shoes of Maniesh for the episode later.

The web series is the Indian adaptation of the British show Stupid Man Smart Phone.

The reality show sees Sumeet and a celebrity guest dropped into a different, treacherous environment every episode. They must survive with no training or knowledge of the local language or customs, only their smart phones and internet access.

Earlier, Evelyn Sharma had created a fuss while shooting the show in Tamil Nadu because she did not want to walk in the rains in her expensive shoes.
