However,
here comes the big twist as a source has disclosed to SpotboyE.com that not
Ssharad Malhotra but Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan fame Parth Samthaan has emerged the
winner and shocked the two front-runners at the winning post.
Parth,
who was in the US for few days after the wrap-up of his web series Kaisi Hain
Yariyan 3, came back to Mumbai last week and auditioned for the role. And now,
Ekta has finalised him to become the new Anurag.
Parth
has a crazy fan following among girls and it is expected that he will live up
to the faith imposed in him. Anurag’s character in Kasautii Zindagii Kay was a
rage with females girls and therefore Ekta was looking for someone younger for
the character (As exemplified in the tweet above).
However,
he hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet. But if all goes well, it will be Parth
essaying the iconic character.
Meanwhile,
we can also tell you that Hina Khan has been finalised to play Komolika
(originally Urvashi Dholakia) in the show, even though the actress has choosen
to not confirm the news.
We were the first to tell you that Erica Fernandes will play Prerna (formerly played by Shweta Tiwari) in the remake and herewith we have divulged that it’s Parth Samthaan who will get into Anurag's shoes, originally played by Cezzane Khan.
