Reema Lagoo's Daughter Mrunmayee Lagoo To Enter Naamkarann As New Antagonist
If all goes well, Late Reema Lagoo’s daughter Mrunmayee Lagoo will soon be seen in Naamkarann as the antagonist. The Star Plus is all set for a major twist in the plot
Here comes an
interesting scoop from the sets of Naamkarann as a major development is being
planned in the show. Star Plus' show Naamkarann, which is inspired by Bollywood
film Zakhm is currently showing the love story of Neil Khanna (Zain Imam) and
Avni (Aditi Rathore) is going to show a major twist where the lovers will apart
their ways and story will jump to post leap.

Well, a lot of
plans have been made by the makers to serve audience a new story in the same
show. But what excited us is the name of new villain. Yes, a close source from
the set informed us that production has approached Mrunmayee Lagoo to play the
antagonist in the show.
Mrunmayee is
daughter of Late Reema Lagoo who played the main antagonist named
Dayawanti Mehta. But due to her sudden demise (on May 18 2017) during
the show Ragini Shah replaced her character.

And now, makers
have approached her daughter to play the villain. Mrunmayee is also an actor by
profession and has done few Marathi films. She has also assisted Aamir Khan in
his films like 3 Idiots and Talaash.
Mrunmayee has not
officially given a nod to take up the character, but if all goes well after
Reema her daughter will take the charge of becoming villain in the show.

Mrunmayee’s father, Vivek Lagoo, would be proud if she takes up the show her
mother was part of. You may recall, he had spoken to SpotboyE.com about
the senior actress, their marriage and what had happened on the day hours
before she passed away.
Over to
Naamkarann, in the upcoming episode, Avni will kill Vidyut (Karam Rajpal) and
in fact she will also die before the story takes the leap. After 5 years leap
Avni will be found in jail and later a lady will adopt her who is none other
than Neena Gupta.
