Rita Bhaduri’s Death: Bhumika Gurung, Juhi Parmar, Ankita Bhargava & Krystle D’souza Remember The Late Actress

This morning, we woke up to the unfortunate news of Rita Bhaduri’s death. The actress, 67, was fighting many health issues since a long time.

Her body was taken for cremation a while ago and a number of celebrities such as Satish Shah, Bhumika Gurung, Jaya Bhattacharya, Shishir Sharma and Tinku Talsania were present for her last rites.

Bhumika, who shared screen space with Bhaduri in the ongoing Nimki Mukhiya, is broken after the news. She told SpotboyE.com, “We lost a beautiful soul today. My daadi... My Rita ma'am.I'll always love her.”

She also took Instagram to post a long and heartfelt message for her.

Ankita Bhargava too shared a note in which she spoke about how the current crop of actors have a lot to learn from her. The two worked together in Ekk Nayi Pehchaan.

Here’s what Krystle D’souza had to say:

An emotional Juhi Parmar told a section of the media, “...I will remember several things about her; used to call her Rita Ma. She was full of love and used to get food for the whole unit. She has pampered me a lot. I will never be able to forget Rita Ma and will never be able to come to terms that she is not there. For me, Kumkum will be my all-time favourite because I got to know her from the show. We became so close and she loved me so much. She used to get food for me so that I don't worry about eating after pack-up.”

Earlier, Vivek Dahiya and Annup Sonii too expressed grief on the sad news. Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre also spoke on how sad she is on losing her Do Hanson Ka Joda co-actress. She said, "I'm really saddened to know about Ritaji. She was a wonderful woman, with a great heart, very practical and full of positive spirit, not to forget an amazing actress too. We were like a family on sets. As soon as I came to know about her, memories flashed in my mind...the time we shared, enjoyed. I'm missing her. It’s really sad when you lose your co-star as we spend so much of time together. They become like a family,"

We spoke to Rita Bhaduri’s FTII friend, Zarina Wahab, who told us that how she is feeling extremely sorry for not dropping in at her place, 5 days back, when she was planning to. 

While talking to SpotboyE.com, her niece Mini had said, "Well, Ritaji had developed several complications. Her kidneys had failed since some time and more recently, she had a spine surgery done. After that, she developed many complications and her other internal organs started deteriorating. The last one month was tough."

Rita was prominent in the 1975 Julie where she played Lakshmi's friend. She had a long list of movies to her credit, including Raja, Beta, Hero No.1 and Virasat. Lately, she was seen on the small screen in Nimki Mukhiya
