A few months back, we reported that Ekta Kapoor’s
Chandrakanta will eventually make way for the producer’s popular series
Naagin 3.
We had also said that for the coming 3 months (Jan to
March 2018) the slot of the show will be changed to 6 pm as Colors had a different plan in mind and wanted to
shift Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh starrer show to a new
time slot. Probably they wanted to give it one last chance to connect with the
audience at a different viewing time.

However, the show is
finally going off air and the last episode will be aired on May 27.
Well yes, the show which premiered in June 2017 has been bleeding with falling TRPs and waning
popularity. And finally, we hear the channel has decided to
pull the plug off. The creative team of writers have already started working on
the climax; in fact, they have also shot a death sequence of Queen Iravati
(Urvashi Dholakia).

Also, if all goes will Naagin 3 will hit your TV screen
from June 2 at 8pm.

On the other hand, Naagin 3 is also generating buzz with
its promos and first looks of its lead cast- Karishma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti and
Anita Hassaandani. In fact, Rajat Tokas’ all new beefed-up avatar made a lot of
heads turn too.
Coming back to Chandrakanta, unfortunately it’s finally
time to bid goodbye to the serial.
